Dogs, Dogs, Dogs

Last week we had several dogs come to visit. Callum bought his dog to school one morning. His name was Bodie, he was a big, gentle husky dog.

Blake bought his two dogs to school too, their names were Oscar and Jasper. They were Maltese dogs and were smaller and very playful!

On Wednesday, Kids For Drama visited the junior school to talk about dog safety.

We learned safety messages like:
Ask the dog owner before you pat their dog.
If a dog is running after you, stand like a tree.
Chin or chest is the best place to pat a dog.
If you see a stray dog, leave it alone.

Milking at Ambury Farm.

On Wednesday our class went to Ambury Farm. During our farm experience, we saw Priti the cow being milked. Lockey talked to us about how cows used to milked by hand before there were machines.

Celebrating Cultures at Our School.

This term we started the term celebrating the different cultures we have in our school. During lunch times children were able to explore different cultural art and activities.

At the end of the week the children came to school dressed in their national costume.

We also had a shared lunch and tried different food from different cultures.
