The Dragon

We have been talking about celebrations in different cultures. This week our poem was about a Chinese dragon doing a dance:

I'm the dragon who dances in the street.
I'm the dragon in the festival.
I leap and twist on caterpillar feet.
I'm the dragon who dances in the street.
I snap and snort and stamp to the beat.
I shiver my scales. I can't keep still.
I'm the dragon who dances in the street.
I'm the dragon in the festival.
I'm the King of the Chinese New Year.

We are Learning to Help Each Other

The children are all arriving at school. Johnny sees his friend Anna. He runs over to play with her....Oh no! Anna has fallen over.
Should he..
*Ignore Anna and keep on going
*Say "sorry" and help her up
*Cry, because Anna is crying
*Go and play with someone else
