Blake bought his two dogs to school too, their names were Oscar and Jasper. They were Maltese dogs and were smaller and very playful!
On Wednesday, Kids For Drama visited the junior school to talk about dog safety.
We learned safety messages like:
Ask the dog owner before you pat their dog.
If a dog is running after you, stand like a tree.
Chin or chest is the best place to pat a dog.
If you see a stray dog, leave it alone.
It was wonderful getting to meet Callum and Blakes dogs wasn't it? It is great to see how friendly dogs can be. I can see that you all learnt a lot about being safe around dogs when the Kids for Drams came to visit.
ReplyDeleteIt was really good that Blake could take Oscar and Jasper to school to show the class. Maltese are really lovely little dogs as they don't smell and they don't shed their long hair, plus they love children - and Blake loves playing with them. I hope the class enjoyed cuddling them. Carol (Blake's Nana).
