The Best Loved Bear
Last week Mrs Moselen shared a very special teddy bear. She used to play with it when she was a child. The arms and legs move and some of the stitching is coming off. We can tell that she hugged it a lot because some of the fur was coming off!
We thought it looked like the bear in the story titled "The Best Loved Bear" written by Diana Noonan.
Click on the picture to get a closer look.
Can you see where the fur is coming off?
Can you see where the stitching is coming apart?

Mrs Rennie Shares a Special 'Friend'
Today Mrs Rennie came in with a special friend. It was a China doll that was more than 70 years old. The face, arms and legs were made of china, the body was made from material. The hair was painted on and we could see little cracks on the head. It is a special doll for Mrs Rennie and she told us how she used to play with it when she was a little girl.
