The Best Loved Bear
Last week Mrs Moselen shared a very special teddy bear. She used to play with it when she was a child. The arms and legs move and some of the stitching is coming off. We can tell that she hugged it a lot because some of the fur was coming off!
We thought it looked like the bear in the story titled "The Best Loved Bear" written by Diana Noonan.
Click on the picture to get a closer look.

Mrs Charmley's Favourite Toys
Today Mrs Charmley talked to us about some of the toys that she used to play with. She shared some interesting information about the toys.
Wind up toys had a special key that would turn a spring and wind the toy up to make it move.
Some soft toys were made from material called felt. The toys were hand stitched by mothers for their children.
Many toys were made of metal not plastic. They were very strong.
