Special Features On Our Favourite Toys

Last week we learned to label some special features on our favourite toys using a programme called KidPix. Look at some of the adjectives we have used. We took our own photos using the class digital camera. Some of our photos might be a bit 'fuzzy' because we were learning to focus before we took the photo.

Our Friendly 'Wild Things'

In music and drama we have been exploring moving like a 'Wild Thing' . We explored stomping, slithering, sliding, crawling and prancing.
The children also designed their own 'Wild Things' on a programme called Kidpix.

Using an Interactive Whiteboard to Support Our Learning

We have been using a Mimio in our class programme. The children are learning how to use this by themselves or in small groups to support their learning. Here we have Maggie and Matthew doing a maths warm up with the class. Ask your child what other activities we have been doing.

Poems about Ourselves

We wrote poems ourselves and what we like doing. The children recorded these themselves using a flip video camera. It was our first time, some of us were feeling a bit nervous.......
