On Tuesday the juniors went for a trip on the Rain Forest Express in the Waitakere Ranges. We saw the pipeline that took water from the Upper Nihotupu Dam to the water treatment station.
The Upper Nihotupu Dam was amazing and so huge!
We went in some dark tunnels....and saw some large wetas!
It was great fun on the trip. The breeze was cold but it was a wonderful day

ReplyDeleteMy favourate tunnel was the one with the glow-worms. They looked like thousends of tiny fairies dancing in the star and moonlight.
