Callum's snail labelling

Today Callum labelled some special parts of a snail using Kid Pix. He first took a photo of the snail using the class camera.

The Junior School Assembly

Today we had a junior school assembly and some children from Room 14 shared their butterflies. Callum spoke about how we made them and what materials we used. Well done Callum, you were a confident speaker.

Welcome Grandparents!

Yesterday we had a special Grandparents morning at our school. They came and supported us in class activities and we showed them around our school. It was so exciting sharing our learning with them. Thank you for coming Grandparents!

Callum's Weta

Today Callum brought a weta to school. He found this minibeast on his Uncle's shoe at his Grandma's house. It has 6 legs, it is an insect. We talked about how it's brown colour helps it to be camouflaged in the garden. Can you see the long antennae and it's eyes?
