How Big is a Dinosaur?

We found out some interesting things about the Apatosaurus.

We were really fascinated about the size because it was one of the largest land animals.

We learned that the tail was about 15 metres long. We measured how long this was..

and...

the Apatosaurus was between 21 and 27 metres long. We stretched out our arms and used a measuring tape to help us measure it....

It was huge!

  5. I can't believe how long that dinosaur was, imagine if we had to make 5 of those dinosaurs in a row we probably have needed to use everyone in the school!
